Hasbro Music has officially released “Click Clash,” a reimagined single based on the iconic battle-of-the-bands track from the classic animated franchise Jem and the Holograms. The release revisits the musical rivalry between Jem and the Holograms and The Misfits for modern audiences.
To link the new recording with the legacy 1980s animated series, the track features Ellen Bernfeld (also known as Norma Human), the original singing voice of The Misfits’ leader, Pizzazz.
Franchise Momentum & Music Releases
The premiere of “Click Clash” follows several recent music initiatives tied to the Jem and the Holograms brand equity:
- Live Performances: A special feature performance by Britta Phillips, the original singing voice of Jem, at the sold-out The Transformers: The Movie 40th Anniversary Celebration of Life Concert.
- Recent Music Catalogs: The release of the Music Is Magic EP alongside the Jem x Cold Slither crossover single.
- Holiday & Streaming Catalog: Continued promotion of Jem‘s reimagined cover of Wham!’s “Last Christmas.”
Future Franchise Expansion
In addition to new digital music releases, a new live-action Jem and the Holograms series is currently in active development with Amazon MGM Studios.
The new single is available listening to “Click Clash” on streaming platforms.
