Universal is bringing the newest adventure for DreamWorks Animation’s phenomenally successful Gabby’s Dollhouse franchise to Brand Licensing Europe 2026, unveiling new consumer products opportunities for the upcoming spin-off series DreamWorks Animation’s Doozie’s Doghouse.

While the series stands on its own, it remains deeply connected to the broader Gabby’s Dollhouse universe, with crossover appearances from Gabby and her cat-tastic friends and alongside visits from Doozie and the Doghouse crew. Fresh stories and new opportunities for play will build on the enormous global success of Gabby’s Dollhouse.

Since its debut in 2021, Gabby’s Dollhouse has become a global preschool phenomenon with more than 80 episodes and millions of fans around the world. It is currently Netflix’s fourth most-viewed series ever, while the franchise has developed into a powerhouse spanning consumer products, gaming, music, digital content and live experiences.

That popularity has translated into significant consumer products success: Spin Master’s Gabby’s Dollhouse toy range has been a standout performer, with the hero dollhouse selling out at launch and going on to sell more than 4 million dollhouses worldwide.

In 2026, Gabby’s world expanded with the opening of Universal Kids Resort in Frisco, Texas, where families can visit the Isle of Curiosity featuring DreamWorks Animation’s Gabby’s Dollhouse. The colorful land features Gabby’s Cat-Tastic Dance Party!, treats from Cakey’s Cupcakes and an expanded selection of Gabby’s Dollhouse merchandise at the flagship Universal Kids Resort Store.

Doozie’s Doghouse gives partners the opportunity to build on that proven foundation while adding something new. Where Gabby’s Dollhouse has captivated children with its magical cast of cat characters, Doozie introduces a new pack of puppy pals, tapping into children’s universal love of animals and pets. New characters, personalities and stories create fresh possibilities for products, collectability and imaginative play.

Fans first met Doozie and some of the Doozie Dogs in two crossover episodes in Gabby’s Dollhouse Season 14, which debuted on Netflix on September 14, before Doozie’s Doghouse makes its standalone debut in November. The Season 14 trailer generated 4.8 million views in its first week, making it the biggest TV trailer launch in DreamWorks Animation history.

At BLE, Universal will showcase opportunities across toys alongside expansion into new categories, fashion and lifestyle. The sister relationship between Gabby and Doozie also creates opportunities for products and collections that connect both worlds.

Rafa Macias, Executive Vice President, Universal Consumer Products & Games:

Gabby’s Dollhouse has given us incredibly strong foundations growing into a global franchise that kids love and partners have embraced. Now, with Doozie’s Doghouse, we’re building on that success and opening the door to an exciting new world. With a lovable new pack of pups, fresh play patterns and the strength of Gabby’s Dollhouse behind it, there’s huge potential for licensees and retailers to get creative across toys, fashion, lifestyle and beyond.

The launch will be backed by the powerful global platform already established around Gabby’s Dollhouse. Alongside DreamWorks Animation and Netflix, a “Get to Know Doozie” campaign will span YouTube, Roblox, digital channels and field marketing, supported by social content, creator partnerships and live experiences.

Gabby remains at the heart of the franchise, with continued investment across content, products, gaming, digital and experiences. Doozie adds a new way for children to discover and engage with the universe, creating more characters, more stories, more ways to play and more opportunities for partners.
