WildBrain has revealed the official premiere date and new artwork for Strawberry Shortcake’s Bake Shop, an all-new CG-animated web series. The project introduces a modern CG look combined with 1980s nostalgia, inviting fans back into Strawberry Shortcake’s world.

The first two episodes are scheduled to premiere on October 16 on the official Strawberry Shortcake YouTube channel on the WildBrain Network. The full 26-episode season (3 minutes per episode) will roll out over the following year and will feature eight original songs.

Series Overview and Highlights

The series targets kids aged 4–8 along with nostalgic adult fans, returning to the core setting of Berryville with signature elements including her strawberry-shaped home and her companion cat, Custard.

  • Format: 26 episodes of 3 minutes each, featuring 8 new original songs.
  • Release Platform: Global rollout on the official YouTube channel starting October 16.
  • Core Themes: Friendship, community, baking, and acts of kindness.
  • Brand Expansion: Part of a broader content, consumer products, and live experiences strategy for the franchise.

Creative Vision

“Generations of fans have grown up with Strawberry Shortcake’s message of kindness, community and laughter, and I am so excited for a new generation to meet her. Strawberry Shortcake’s Bake Shop opens up a fantastical world that feels both wonderfully familiar and completely new,” stated Daisy Wall, VP of Content at WildBrain and creative lead on the series. “As she supports her community of Berry Besties, Strawberry shows us that kindness is a courageous choice, grounded in grit and determination, and that even the smallest gesture like sharing a cupcake can become a symbol of love and care.”
