On Thursday, July 9, the TF1 Group unveiled the lineup for the 2026–2027 season of its children’s programming block Tfou, which is aimed at 3- to 10-year-olds and airs on the TF1 and TFX channels, as well as on the free streaming platform TF1+. The first new addition is Witch Detectives (24 x 22’ plus a 44’ special), aimed at 6- to 10-year-olds and produced by Method Animation (France). This series features Maya, Max, and Millie, three young witches who are private detectives and investigate disappearances, thefts, and unexplained phenomena.

Another series produced by Method Animation is part of the lineup: Karters (52 x 13’). Co-produced by Planeta Junior (Spain), it features four young go-kart racers—Max, Victoria, Coralise, and Lizzie—who live in the magical kingdom of Kartopia and come to the rescue of magical creatures called Unipets, who are threatened by villains. The series is aimed at 4- to 6-year-olds.
Three other new titles are expected: Migali, Louca and Hello Kitty Super Style!
- Migali (52 x 11’, including two 22’ specials), aimed at 5- to 8-year-olds, is produced by Easy Peasy Entertainment (France) and Bardaf! Productions (Belgium). It is an adaptation of the comic books by Alexandre Arlène and Fabien öckto Lambert, published by Auzou Editions. It follows the daily life of Migali, a spider princess and member of the Royal Academy, where students learn to rule.

- Louca (26 x 22’, including a 44’ special), produced by Media Valley (France) and Belvision (Belgium), is an adaptation of Bruno Dequier’s best-selling comic book series, published by Dupuis. Its main character, Louca, is a shy, clumsy high school student who is the only one who can see Nathan, a ghost and former captain of the high school soccer team. Nathan coaches Louca in everyday life and helps him gain self-confidence. The series is aimed at children ages 6–10.

- Hello Kitty Super Style! (52 x 11’), produced by Watch Next Media (France) and Monello Productions (France), features the famous character in new adventures that will captivate children ages 4–6.
New Seasons
The 2026–2027 lineup will also feature new seasons of established series, starting with two produced by Spin Master (Canada) and Nickelodeon (United States): PAW Patrol, aimed at 4- to 7-year-olds, returning for a 13th season (26 x 11’) and Rubble & Crew, aimed at 3- to 6-year-olds, returning for a 4th season (26 x 11’). New episodes of Season 6 of Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir will be unveiled, ahead of the launch of Season 7 (26 x 22’). Aimed at 6- to 10-year-olds, Miraculous is produced by Miraculous Corp (France).
New Developments
During the press conference, Yann Labasque, Director of Youth Programs, unveiled the series currently in development with the TF1 Group, which reflect the group’s commitment to “introducing new heroes and new narratives.” Among these is Animal Jack (52 x 11’), produced by Ellipse Animation (France). Aimed at 5- to 8-year-olds, it is an adaptation of the Kid Toussaint and Miss Prickly’s best-selling comic books, published by Dupuis. It tells the story of a little boy, Jack, who can transform himself into different animals.
Also worth mentioning is My Great Great Great Family (52 x 11’), produced by Dandelooo (France), a series that aligns with TF1’s goal “to push the boundaries of comedy in order to target the 6–10 age group”, according to Labasque. My Great Great Great Family tells the story of 12-year-old Alyx, who finds herself living day-to-day with four of her ancestors. “We’re open to other comedy proposals for 6- to 10-year-olds”, emphasizes Labasque.
Finally, the TF1 Group aims to “go further into semi-serialized formats”, Labasque explained. With this in mind, Tfou has committed to Frostheart (26 x 22’), an adaptation of the books by British author Jamie Littler, produced by La Chouette Compagnie (France), and aimed at 6- to 9-year-olds. “It’s a wonderful project, already supported by Super RTL (Germany). Frostheart is an epic series full of twists and turns”, commented Labasque.
By 2026, the TF1 Group will have aired nearly 1,600 hours of animated contents.
