Mondo TV Group has announced that it has signed a co-production agreement to partner with Germany’s ZDF Studios to produce the much awaited Second Season of the animated series Grisù, inspired by the famous classic created by Nino and Toni Pagot. The series is planned with 52 episodes by 11-minutes each, and with expected delivery early 2028.

Mondo TV France S.A is delighted to welcome the enthusiastic backing of ZDF Studios for one of Mondo TV’s flagship shows and IPs as the 50th Anniversary since the launch of the classic series in Italy is fast approaching, and the 2026 celebrations plan is ready to roll out working hand in hand with Rai Kids in Italy.

Mondo TV France, Mondo TV S.p.A, Calidra, ZDF Studios and ZDF, with the participation of Rai Kids, will co-produce Season 2 of the new 3D CGI series based on the famous classic property Grisù. Under the terms of the agreement, ZDF, ZDF Studios and RAI will actively participate in the artistic and creative process, ensuring the high-level editorial quality that characterizes the adventures of the little dragon who dreams of becoming a firefighter.
