Beijing Kids Media in partnership with Animotion Media Group has released The Fixies: Developing Scientific Thinking, a systematic STEM picture-book series based on the popular educational animation IP The Fixies.
Aligned with the Chinese primary school science curriculum, the series is designed to ignite curiosity and foster foundational scientific thinking in children aged 3 and above. The books introduce scientific concepts through engaging Fixies stories and include hands-on experiments that children can do at home.
Beijing Kids Media has published the 25-book printed collection, available exclusively through new media channels, with Douyin as the primary sales platform. Following its release on September 1, the series achieved immediate commercial success, selling approximately 10,000 sets in its first week alone. Two additional sets are planned for publication later this year.
