Peggy and Molly Animated Series is heading to the world stage, with the project set to be represented at the prestigious Annecy Animation Festival by acclaimed Australian animation writer, producer and development executive Amanda Spagnolo.
Based on the true-life friendship between Peggy, the lovable English Staffy, and Molly, the Australian magpie, the series brings to life one of Australia’s most heartwarming and unlikely animal friendships. What began as a beautiful real-world story has grown into a global phenomenon, with Peggy and Molly amassing more than 2.5 million followers worldwide and being featured across more than 40 major media and news platforms, including ABC, Channel 9, Channel 7 and CNN.
The upcoming animated series has already generated major excitement and has been described as having one of the strongest casts ever assembled in Australian children’s television history. With a remarkable line-up of Australian talent attached to the project, Peggy and Molly Animated Series is positioning itself as a major new family entertainment property with strong international appeal.

At Annecy, Amanda Spagnolo will be representing Peggy and Molly Animated Series and helping introduce the project to the international animation community. The team is seeking to connect with interested partners, broadcasters, distributors, merchandise companies, licensing partners and global entertainment collaborators.
