LeiKiè’s new single BREAKING PAPnews announces the arrival of PAPgame and inaugurates a new phase of the narrative universe born from PAPmusic – Animation for Fashion.

Originally conceived as an independent animated feature film set between Milan, Rome, Venice and Pompeii, PAPmusic – Animation for Fashion is the result of more than ten years of creative development carried out within an independent Italian production company.
Created by artist, director, songwriter and composer LeiKiè, the project combines fashion, music, design, pop culture and Italian artistic heritage in an animated musical comedy that is ironic, surreal, colorful and deliberately irreverent.
Entirely produced in Italy, PAPmusic has given life to a universe featuring more than 200 animated 3D characters, thousands of simulated garments, accessories, environments, props and original visual elements developed through a highly recognizable pop aesthetic.
The soundtrack includes 51 original songs and musical compositions, which serve as an integral part of both the storytelling and the worldbuilding of the project.
Through humor, music and animation, the film explores the dynamics of the fashion industry, addressing themes such as creativity, ambition, identity, image, professional relationships and personal transformation through a light-hearted and entertaining perspective.
Educational yet irreverent, colorful yet capable of observing its own industry with irony, PAPmusic has progressively built a community of viewers and supporters known as the “PAPizzati.”
Following its Italian theatrical release, audience demand to continue experiencing the film led to the creation of the PAPtour, a series of special screenings and live events that extended the life of the project well beyond its traditional theatrical run.
After receiving more than 50 international awards and official selections, PAPmusic continues to evolve by expanding its creative universe beyond the original feature film.
Over the years, the narrative world born around the film has gradually developed its own identity, giving rise to what is now known as PAPworld: a shared creative space where animation, music, characters, storytelling and new forms of entertainment coexist within a unified vision.
With BREAKING PAPnews, LeiKiè opens the first chapter of this new phase.
More than a standalone music release, the project represents the first piece of a creative journey that will continue expanding the PAPmusic narrative universe through music, music videos, characters and storytelling.
Throughout the music video, LeiKiè moves through different pop identities and visual transformations that further enrich the PAPworld universe while maintaining the ongoing dialogue between animation, music and contemporary culture that has characterized the project since its origins.

The announcement of PAPgame remains deliberately shrouded in mystery.
A board game? A social game? Or something completely unexpected?
Its true nature will be progressively revealed over the coming months through new songs, music videos and original content designed to guide audiences toward its discovery.
At a time when more and more intellectual properties are exploring new ways to expand beyond cinema, PAPmusic continues to develop an independent approach that uses animation, music and storytelling as complementary tools for worldbuilding.
