Minno, the leading faith-based streaming platform and media company for kids and families, announced the appointment of Craig Hunter as Chief Content Officer. In his new role, Hunter will spearhead global content strategy including original acquisitions and co-productions as well as expanding a development pipeline across Minno’s growing digital and streaming ecosystem. His creative and programming leadership will help to bring global industry practices to Minno and consolidate its position as a leader in the values-based entertainment space.
Hunter brings over two decades of global kids’ media leadership to Minno, having previously served as Global Head of Kids and Family at YouTube Originals, Senior Executive at Amazon Kids+, and Director of Kids’ Networks for Sony Pictures Television. Prior to this, Hunter held senior roles at entertainment companies including Nickelodeon, BBC Studios, and Disney spearheading award-winning series development and platform growth strategies.
Erick Goss, CEO and Co-Founder of Minno:
Craig’s track record of developing world-class, globally resonant content for young audiences is unmatched. As Minno continues to expand its reach and invest in high-quality, faith-forward and values-driven programming, Craig’s vision and extensive industry background will be instrumental in shaping our next generation of original stories, bringing the child development research, educational rigor, and creative excellence behind top-tier kids’ programming directly into Minno’s original series development. Faith and values-driven families are one of the largest underserved audiences in kids’ media. Bringing in someone who led kids’ programming at Sony, YouTube and Amazon says we intend to compete on quality with anyone.
Craig Hunter, Chief Content Officer at Minno:
“I have spent my career bringing stories to life that entertain, educate, and inspire children globally. Minno stands out as a purpose-driven platform delivering meaningful content that families trust. It’s exciting that the company is building an ecosystem across content, books and audio experiences, and meeting families at every touchpoint. I am thrilled to join the team and looking forward to collaborating with creators worldwide to elevate values-led kids’ entertainment.”

Hunter joins Minno at a moment of significant momentum for the company, which continues to see rapid growth in paid members and audience engagement, underscoring the demand among families for trusted content rooted in faith and values. His focus will be on deepening the platform’s content slate, forging strategic creative partnerships, and acquiring IP that supports families in celebrating and cultivating their faith.
Minno’s original content slate now spans thirty shows, including Young David, developed alongside The David Movie – which set the record for the highest-grossing opening weekend for an animated faith-based film, with Minno serving as executive producer – and an exclusive kids-first streaming partnership for The Chosen Adventures, the animated spinoff of one of the largest faith-media franchises in the world.
The platform is also expanding its flagship Laugh and Grow Bible for Kids franchise, which spans more than sixty-five episodes from Genesis through Revelation, with a new Jesus Stories series launching in October 2026 and a 2027 cadence of one new animated Bible story per week.
Central to Hunter’s mandate will be applying the same child-development research, educational rigor, and creative competitiveness found in top-tier mainstream kids’ programming to faith-forward content, delivered across Minno’s read, watch, and listen ecosystem of books, original series, and audio.
