Kids content specialist TwelveP Animation and Paola Myriam Visconti, author of Giunti Editore’s best-selling children’s book series Dynowish, are expanding the presence of the hit publishing IP into new territories via books and digital content.
New publishers on board include Ediciones Obelisco in Spain, Yapi Kredi in Turkey, and Eksmo in Russia, joining renowned Florentine publishing house Giunti Editore which publishes the best-selling books in Italian and English in Italy and the Middle East. In addition, a rollout of digital shortform content is underway with the first episodes launching on YouTube and social channels, developed and produced with involvement from Giunti Editore.
The IP has been developed as an original 360-degree universe for kids 6-9, spanning the book series, content, games, toys, consumer products, education and more, with TwelveP and Paola Myriam Visconti targeting Roblox and other gaming platforms and consumer products as the next step in building the immersive touchpoints for the growing fandom. An animated series for kids 6-9 is also in development with Paola Myriam Visconti co-producer and creative producer on the show with TwelveP.
The Vision and the Core Universe
The central characters in Dynowish are Ginny and Leo, two siblings who face off against Azimur, the evil wizard who seeks to use the energy of dreams to increase his power and turn those dreams into nightmares. Only Dynowish, the legendary protector of dreams, together with Ginny and Leo, can stop Azimur and restore hope to the dream world. At the heart of the Dynowish saga is the reminder of the importance of dreams and the need to protect them.
To echo the themes of the series – believing in yourself and pursuing your dreams – Visconti and her husband have also established the Dynowish Foundation, with a mission to support children worldwide, particularly the less fortunate. The Foundation partners with local charities such as WellChild in the UK.
Executive Commentary
Paola Myriam Visconti, Dynowish Saga Author and co-producer of the series, says:
“The growing interest from international publishers reflects the universal nature of Dynowish. At its core, the series celebrates dreams, imagination, friendship and the belief that every child possesses a unique gift waiting to be discovered. These are themes that transcend language, culture and geography. Publishers recognise that children everywhere connect with stories that inspire them to believe in themselves, and that universal message is what gives Dynowish its international appeal.”
Katerina Pshenitsyna, General Manager, TwelveP Animation and co-producer, added: “The launch of Dynowish short content across digital platforms marks an important milestone in the evolution of the brand, but it is only the beginning of a much larger digital strategy that will allow children to engage with the brand wherever they are.”
